Our Board of Directors is made up of versatile and experienced professional Investment Bankers headed by Mr. Aigboje I. Aig- Imoukhuede.


Aigboje I. Aig- Imoukhuede (Chairman of the Board of Directors)
He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Marina Securities Limited as well as the Managing Director of Access Bank Plc.

He graduated in 1986 with a degree in law from University of Benin and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Executive Management Programme where he graduated as Class Speaker, PMD 75. He has over 19 years of professional banking experience principally at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc where he resigned as an Executive Director in February 2002 to lead a formidable team of proven professionals in the transformation of Access Bank Plc as the Managing Director/CEO.

His professional training and exposure spans virtually all the disciplines of Banking and has equipped him with the requisite technical skills and knowledge of products and business concepts vital to playing a key role in the development and transformation of the financial services industry.

He has delivered several papers and lectures at both local and international forums. He served as a resource person to the nation’s private-public partnership business and economic programmes and has participated actively in the growth of Nigeria’s banking industry and financial sector.

Mr Aig-Imoukhuede is a member of the Presidential Committee on the establishment of the African Investment Bank, an honourary member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and a Governing Council member of the Financial Institutions Training Centre. He serves as a member of the sub-committee of the Banker’s Committee on Professional Ethics, as well as the boards of FATE Foundation and the Harvard Business School Association of Nigeria. He was recently nominated as an ASPEN Leadership Initiative Fellow under the auspices of LEAP Africa and the ASPEN Institute, Colorado USA.
Herbert Wigwe (Director)
Mr. Herbert Wigwe is a Director of Marina Securities Limited and Deputy Managing Director of Access Bank Plc. He holds a B.Sc. (1987) Degree in Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Nsuka and a Masters Degree (1996) in Banking and International Finance from the University College of North Wales. An Alumnus of Harvard Business School, he holds another Masters Degree in Financial Economics from the University of London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Herbert started his professional career with the accounting firm of Coopers and Lybrand Associates from where he proceeded to launch a distinguishing career in banking. He spent over 10 years at Guaranty Trust Bank where he managed several portfolios including Financial Institutions, Local Corporates and Multinationals. He rose to the post of Executive Director before leaving in February 2002 to co-lead the formidable team of proven professionals in the transformation of Access Bank Plc as Deputy Managing Director.

His experience covers Corporate/Institutional Banking, Commercial Banking and Product Development. Herbert has led some of the industry’s significant syndication arrangements including the offshore funding arrangement of over US$350 million for LNG’s Train III project.
Chizoba Ufoeze(Director)
Chizoba holds a 1992 B.Sc in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Nigeria, Enugu, a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Middlesex University Business School London, and another Masters Degree in Investment Management from City University Business School, London. Chizoba Ufoeze has extensive experience in equity, fixed income products, financial advisory and portfolio management in both the Nigerian and International markets.
Jibola Odedina – Chief Executive Officer
Jibola Odedina is the CEO of Marina Securities Limited. He holds a double Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Economics, both from the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas, USA. He has over seventeen years experience in funds and portfolio management, securities trading, property development and management. He is an authorized dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (June 1995) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. Jibola was one time President and member of the Zeta Mu Chapter of the International Business Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi, USA and is currently a member of the Securities & Exchange Commission National Committee on the Review of Registrars Operations and IT Infrastructure.
