Management Team

The management team led by ’Jibola Odedina include the following professionals:

Aig Aig-Imoukhuede (Director, Wealth Managemement) Aig is a graduate of Business Studies (Administration) from the University of Buckingham, UK He is currently the Director Wealth Management in charge of business development and relationship management in Marina Securities Limited. Before now he was with First Bank of Nigeria PLC, Corporate Banking Directorate, which he joined after the recent merger between First Bank Merchant Bankers, MBC International Bank Ltd (MBC) and First Bank of Nigeria PLC.

Prior to the merger Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede worked with MBC, which he joined in 2001 initially working in the Bank’s Commercial Banking Division from where he went on to Head the Construction Department of its Corporate & investment Banking Division during which period he set up and pioneered the Bank’s Real Estate Desk managing a portfolio of assets in excess of N4 Billion.

Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede started his banking career with Fidelity Bank Plc (previously known as Fidelity Union Merchant Bank Ltd) in 1997, where he worked in various capacities in Retail Banking, Private Banking, Commercial Banking, Public Sector and Treasury and Funds Management. He also has interests in telecommunications, trading and hospitality.



Innocent Osagiede (Group Head, Risk Management & Control) Innocent Osagiede is currently the Group Head, Risk Management & Control in charge of Internal Control, Audit, Risk Management and Financial Control activities in Marina Securities Limited. He joined Marina Securities from the firm of KPMG Professional Services where he was a manager in the Energy and Natural Resources unit. He had previously worked as team-lead in the Financial Services Industry unit of the firm on both audit and agreed upon procedures engagements, from where he garnered vast financial services industry experience. His major financial services client experience includes, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc, Sterling Bank Plc, Bank PHB, Oceanic bank and Banque Internationale Du Benin, Benin Republic. He led the team that conducted complex general ledger reconciliation for MTN and Interbranch reconciliation for the then Universal Trust Bank Plc.

As a manager in the Energy and Natural Resources unit of KPMG professional services, he managed the audit of major upstream, downstream and oil servicing companies in the Nigeria oil and gas industry. Innocent is a graduate of Accounting from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He has attended several courses and trainings in Nigeria and abroad.


Emeka Ndukwe (Head, Securities Trading)
Emeka, a distinguished stockbroker heads our Securities Trading and Treasury Department. He obtained a B.Sc degree in Marketing from the University of Nigeria and MBA (Banking & Finance) from Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

He is an associate member of the following institutions:

Chartered Institute Stockbrokers
Nigerian Institute of Management
Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria

Emeka who has participated in several courses, seminars and investment road show locally and internationally has experience in the Nigerian capital market spanning over 17 years.

He joined Marina Securities Limited from Diamond Securities Limited (a subsidiary of Diamond Bank PLC) were he was Head, Securities Dealing Department.

Cornelia Utuk (Head Corporate Services)

Cornelia is the Company Secretary / Head, Corporate Services in charge of Administration, Legal and Corporate Affairs in Marina Securities Limited. She joined Marina Securities Limited in 2007 as an Associate after nine years of banking experience in Credit Risk Management Division in both Standard Trust Bank and later United Bank Plc.

Cornelia graduated from law faculty, University of Uyo with a Second Class Upper degree in Law in 1996 and also bagged a Second Class Upper Bachelor of Law Post-Graduate degree from Nigerian Law School in 1997 where she won the prestigious Somolu Olujide prize as the best graduating student in Civil Procedure. She was called to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in 1998. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from University of Calabar in 2008 and is currently a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and an associate member of Chartered institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) UK. legal adviser to Marina Securities Limited.
Anita Hiradi Yakubu (Head, Customer Services and Operations)

Anita is a graduate of Economic from University of Maiduguri, Borno State. She started her career with the then Standard Trust Bank Limited (STB). The Merger of the erstwhile United Bank for Africa (UBA) with Standard Trust Bank moved her to the new UBA.

Anita experience in the Nigerian Banking Sector has taken her to major departments in banking operation– Operations, Processing, Fund Transfer/Custom Duty, Trops/Loan disbursement and Customer service. She presently heads Operations Department of Marina Securities Limited.
Ibrahim Isiaka Adekunle(Chief Compliance Officer)

Isiaka holds B.sc (Economics) and M.sc (Finance) from University of Ibadan and University of Liverpool, UK respectively.

Isiaka is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He was an Assistant Manager, Intercontinental Bank Plc (Inspection Department) before he joined Marina Securities as the Head, Internal Control where he served diligently before his appointment as Chief Compliance Officer. He is a versatile banker and accountant with detailed experience in Audit, Internal Control and Consultancy. He is the Chief Compliance Officer of Marina securities Limited.
Demola Adekoya (Head, Corporate Finance)

Demola holds a B.Sc. in Estate Management from the University of Lagos, Akoka. He commenced his career in 2002 at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc working in the Institutional Banking Division and moved to Access Bank Plc in 2003. Upon joining Access Bank, Demola worked in the Bank’s Global Financial Markets Group. He was instrumental to the establishment and development of the Group and an integral part of the select team that has consummated key multilateral and development finance partnerships across the globe. Whilst working in Access Bank, Demola was primarily responsible for the development of Access Bank’s Capital Markets Unit and its development as an emerging name brand amongst capital market operators.

Demola also served on the Bank’s Special Merger and Integration Committee during its merger with Capital Bank International Limited and Marina International Bank Limited.

In June 2008, he joined Marina Securities as Head, Corporate Finance bringing along a wealth of experience in Financial Advisory Services.
Olumuyiwa Olanrewaju (Head, Research)

Olumuyiwa holds a first degree in Education (Economics biased) and a Masters degree in Economics both from University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

He is an experienced Macroeconomic and Equities Business Analyst having worked in leading research companies in Nigeria. He brings to bear analytical skills through his mastery of Investment Research Techniques and has strengthened the company’s research capabilities.
